Create your signature

Pick your template, fill in your details, then copy or download the result.

What you type here is used to build the signature and is not saved — how we handle your details.

Template

How do I put this in my email?

Copy signature puts the formatted signature on your clipboard. Open your mail app's signature settings, click into the signature box, and paste:

  • Outlook (desktop): File › Options › Mail › Signatures.
  • Outlook (web) / Gmail: Settings › Signature.
  • Apple Mail: Mail › Settings › Signatures.

If the paste arrives as plain text, click inside the preview, select all (Ctrl/Cmd+A), copy, and paste that instead. Download .htm gives you a file, which some clients import from.

Creating a signature

The form is in three parts - the template, your details, and the colours - and only one is open at a time so the preview beside it stays in view. Open any of them by clicking its heading; a closed one shows what you chose in it. Nothing closes on its own while you are typing.

The preview updates as you type. What you type is used to render the signature and is never saved - nothing you enter here is stored against an account.

"Copy signature" puts the formatted signature on your clipboard. Open your mail app's signature settings, click into the signature box and paste: in Outlook for the desktop that is File > Options > Mail > Signatures; in Outlook on the web and in Gmail it is Settings > Signature; in Apple Mail it is Mail > Settings > Signatures.

If the paste arrives as plain text, click inside the preview instead, select all (Ctrl or Cmd + A), copy, and paste that. "Download .htm" gives you a file rather than a paste, which some desktop clients and IT departments prefer for importing.

Only the fields your chosen template actually uses are shown, so the list changes when you switch template - and a template that fixes its own colours has no colours step at all. If you are signed in you see your organisation's templates; if not, you see the generic starter ones.

For step-by-step instructions, see the user guide.

My signature looks wrong in Outlook

Outlook renders HTML with Word, not a browser engine, so it ignores a lot of modern CSS. If a signature looks right here and wrong there, the cause is almost always spacing or layout that relies on CSS the Word engine does not support. Tell whoever maintains the template rather than editing the pasted copy - a fix in the template fixes it for everyone.

Do I need an account?

Not to create a signature - the builder is open to anyone unless your organisation has turned that off. Accounts exist for administering templates, banners and users.

Is what I type saved anywhere?

No. Your name, job title and contact details are used to render the signature and are not stored. Regenerating it later means filling the form in again.

How do I paste it into my mail client?

Use "Copy signature", then paste into your mail client's own signature setting - Outlook: File › Options › Mail › Signatures. Gmail: Settings › See all settings › Signature. Apple Mail: Settings › Signatures. If pasting loses the formatting, use "Download .htm" and import the file instead.
